my quite exelent sounding quaddra 64 went missing in the postal system around aug 08 ... and the replacement in nov that year has rubish sound.... is there a way of fitting better speakers within the machine which is a 770.. the one with the little silver half circles towards the hinges..... the reason i ask is that it has been in the wardrobe since the day after i got it and would like to get some use out of it... does anyone know what can be done

Hi Stephen, welcome to the forum Smile

You're not going to be able to change the internal speakers I'm afraid, but you'll be able to pick up an external set that will offer a significant improvement, even when compared to your old Quaddra 64! We recommend the Creative Labs I-Trigue as a great sounding setup Cool

Ben
